Charity Car Boot Sale

In an effort to provide support to the National Humanitarian Fund for Palestinians in Gaza 2023, the Authority for Info-communications Technology Industry of Brunei Darussalam (AITI) organised a charity sale today. With the theme “Empathy in Action, Unite for Gaza”, the event was held at AITI’s compound in Kampong Anggerek Desa.

More than fifty (50) local vendors and individuals participated in the charity event selling various food, drinks and pre-loved items. Participating vendors include Abang Shish; Ashiqah Kitchen; Bubbly Squash; Pol’s Fresh Fruit Juice; Gerai Pisang Madu B26; Go Kart Rental; Hobby 64.bn; Rocket Bouncers; Sense of Solace Café; Sisters in Deen; TastefulDelights.bn; The.Enabler; Ummi Alya Enterprise; as well as employees of AITI. Activities for the entire family were also available for everyone to enjoy. 

As part of AITI’s corporate social responsibility activities to provide assistance to the community, the event aimed to contribute to the relief efforts in Gaza through the National Humanitarian Fund for Palestinians in Gaza 2023, as well as to cultivate empathy towards others particularly those who are less fortunate. 

In addition to the above, physical donation boxes were placed at various points within the premise where visitors were welcomed to donate cash to the humanitarian fund.  

By the end of the event, a total amount of BND5,407.00 was collected from today’s proceeds and contributions from AITI employees, which will be handed over to the National Committee for the Humanitarian Fund for Palestinians in Gaza 2023.
