AITI is seeking a qualified Tenderer to provide a 5G¹ Campus network within Institutes of Higher Learning (IHLS) in Brunei Darussalam.

This initiative is to foster a dynamic environment for research and development by leveraging the high-speed, low-latency capabilities of 5G technology and enabling a wide range of use cases in a closed and controlled environment for experimentation, collaboration and innovation. The 5G campus network is intended to support a potential range of use cases and applications and IHLS is currently exploring and working towards, which may include, but are not limited to, Smart Building, Virtual Tours and Remote Experience, Smart Agriculture, Smart Drone, Smart Aquaculture and Artificial Intelligence (AI).

This will enhance accessibility to 5G technology for both domestic and international students and lecturers, while fostering collaboration with industry and government agencies to drive innovation within IHLS in Brunei Darussalam.

The objectives are to:

1. design, deploy, operate and maintain 5G Campus network within IHLS in Brunei Darussalam, namely Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB) and Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD);
2. facilitate and support a wide range of research and development activities by providing 5G Campus network;
3. promote collaboration among students and lecturers within IHLS and potentially with industry and government agencies, domestically and internationally;
4. ensure long-term sustainability of 5G Campus network by providing comprehensive training on the operation, maintenance and ongoing support.

The high-level scope of work involves:

• Design, deliver, deployment, configuration, testing and commissioning of 5G Campus network within IHLS in Brunei Darussalam;
• Provision of Professional Services;
• Acceptance Tests;
• Training and Knowledge Transfer;
• Collaboration with IHLS and Industry Partners;
• Work Visit;
• Warranty;
• Maintenance and Support Services;
• Network Relocation (Optional).

Eligibility:

Businesses and companies legally established in Brunei Darussalam or abroad who have past experience in the Contract Work are eligible to participate in this ITT.
