Cybershop Fest 2022 in Conjunction with National Day Celebration and Brunei Shopping Festival (Virtual)

This year, the annual CyberShop Fest organised by the Authority for Info-communications Technology Industry of Brunei Darussalam (AITI) returns with a twist. The “National Day CyberShop Fest” will be held in conjunction with Brunei Darussalam’s 38th National Day celebrations by offering customers a virtual shopping experience offered by the eKadaiBrunei vendors.  The virtual shopping festival is done in partnership with Brunei Shopping Festival, organised by AdXpert Marketing.

 

From 23 February to 25 February 2022, the National Day CyberShop Fest will give an opportunity for participating vendors to showcase their products and services, and interact with customers live via a virtual platform. Participating eKadaiBrunei vendors this year include Weelago, Beastmode, Covered by Anissa, Dream Makers Enterprise, Kitsune Trading, Anggun Tropika, Naindah, Wecare Online and Mumtaz Collection.

 

This virtual e-Commerce experience is part of AITI’s initiative to continuously promote digital adoption among local businesses, in support of the strategic objectives of Digital Economy Masterplan 2025 and AITI Strategic Plan 2020-2025. eKadaiBrunei.bn is an online directory which features local eCommerce platforms, delivery and logistic services, and 1 Kampung 1 Produk (1K1P) with the objective to expand their market reach online. This AITI initiative, supported by Ministry of Transport and Infocommunication (MTIC), Ministry of Home Affairs (MOHA) and Darussalam Enterprise (DARe), was set up in response to COVID-19 restrictions while ensuring local businesses activities remain undisrupted. At the same time, eKadaiBrunei serves as a one-stop resource to cater to both businesses and consumers by providing alternative solutions to their needs.
