Introduction
The Data Protection Officer Competency programme is a three-day programme designed for current and prospective Data Protection Officers (DPO) to develop their knowledge and understanding in data protection policies and implementing practices in day-to-day operations within their organisation.
Participants will undergo training in the management of personal data and have the opportunity to become as a Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM).

Registration for Cohort 3 closes on 21 January 2026,
whilst Cohort 4 closes on 4 February 2026.
The total number of participants are limited and will be on a first-come-first-served basis with priority for one person per organisation.

Mr Wong Kar Hong has 30 years of experience in Operations and Information Technology (IT), from Geographic Information System (GIS), Hotel Technology Management to IT Governance and Data Protection. He has a strong reputation as a trainer in data protection and privacy and currently delivers IAPP certification courses in Singapore. He has consistently achieved excellent rating from his course participants.
