Executive Summary
AITI intends to facilitate a comprehensive Digital Upskilling Training Programme for Local Youth Jobseekers and Local Workforce 2022 - 2025 to develop the information and communications technology (ICT) skills of the local ICT manpower.
The objectives are to:
- Improve knowledge and skills of local manpower by providing technical trainings, in the field of ICT and the Fourth Industrial Revolution (IR4.0);
- Facilitate the ICT upskilling and reskilling of trainees with industry-ready competencies based on the demand and requirements of the industry;
- Equip local manpower with globally-recognised professional industry ICT certification; and
- Increase the employability of local youth jobseekers.
High-Level Scope of Work
- Development of Structured Training Programme, Pre-requisites and Detailed Course Contents;
- Promoting and Marketing the Programme;
- Enrolment of Trainees;
- Implementation of Training Courses with Professional Industry Certifications; and
- Claiming the Subsidy.
The training programmes are expected to be delivered within a period of three (3) years including the promotional and enrolment activities:
- Year 1 from October 2022 to March 2023;
- Year 2 from April 2023 to March 2024; and
- Year 3 from April 2024 to March 2025.
