Telekom Brunei Berhad (TelBru) offers a wide and comprehensive range of telecommunications and IT products and services to both the end consumer and business markets. TelBru sees itself as a service provider in four key lines of business, namely Voice, Data, Internet and Multimedia, and Global services. It offers various tailored product and service offerings according to the needs and requirements of the different target markets.
With the Next Generation Network (NGN) platform in place, TelBru will be able to support and provide new Voice, Data, Internet and Multimedia, and value-added services. TelBru anticipates a phased roll-out of several new products and services in Voice, Data and Internet and Multimedia, over the coming years.
DST Communications Sdn. Bhd. was formed in 1995 to provide mobile communications services in place of the Telecommunications Department. Its mobile services graduated from the AMPS mobile system to the GSM system in 1996. DST Communications Sdn. Bhd. is part of the DST Group whose business encompasses mobile and radio communications, payphone and internet services, IT and entertainment.
In April 2005, B.mobile Communications Sdn. Bhd. was formed to provide 3G mobile services. It launched its services in September 2005 and has already acquired a large customer base.
