Brunei ICT Awards

The Brunei Info-Communication Technology Awards (BICTA) is an annual event organised to stimulate innovation and creativity in ICT industry amongst individual, students and associations including SME's. It was first introduced in 2004. BICTA is host by the Ministry of Communication and organized by the Authority for Info-Communication Technology Industry Brunei Darussalam (AITI) and the Infocom Federation Brunei (IFB). The BICTA competition is a component of the Asia Pacific ICT Alliance Award (APICTA) whereby the quality and categories provided are in-line with the standard provided by APICTA. Asia Pacific ICT Alliance

APICTA is a collaborative network which is not only focusing on knowledge sharing and innovative benchmarking, but also on business facilitation between business communities from the member countries. APICTA was established to provide a platform for innovativeness and benchmarking for new products from the region. Furthermore, the purpose of APICTA is also to stimulate the economy and trade relations, to encourage technology transfer and business opportunities, to give exposure to investors and to heighten the awareness of the society on regional cooperation. CommunicAsia

CommunicAsia is a yearly event that is held in Singapore and it is Asia’s largest knowledge based ICT platform where businesses, buyers and sellers meet together to discuss on the latest ICT development products in the ICT industry and business opportunities. Successful applicants from the ICT Industry will brought along together with AITI to attend the CommunicAsia Exhibition under the Brunei Pavilion.
